Our aim is to harness technology to optimise workforce management for our clients. Our strategy to achieve this has three key elements:
Technology Leadership: We are committed to technology leadership. To date over £2m has been invested into the TimeGate Workforce Management System: we invest over £300,000 annually in product R&D. In recent years we have invested significant sums to develop our .NET platform. Put simply, .NET is the Microsoft platform of the future, designed to exploit the full advantages of the internet. Our TimeGate.NET project will ensure that our clients' investment into TimeGate will be "future proofed" whilst enabling them to exploit the benefits of .NET, namely lower cost (to deploy and maintain) and greater flexibility.
Flexible Deployment: Unlike most software suppliers, we at TimeGate Group are committed to offering flexibility to our clients. Although we sell our software in the age-old way; as a software license. We have developed alternatives to provide greater flexibility; namely a turnkey (hardware, software and services) package and a hosted service. Moreover, our hosted or managed service (we provide all IT hardware, software and maintenance and our clients simply rent access to our infrastructure) is linked to two independent control room operators, that enable us to offer an outsourced control room service.
Integrated Solution: Although the heart of TimeGate remains a powerful staff scheduling solution, our offering has expanded significantly over the past 20 years and is now a complete Workforce Management System. Our software solutions are modularised and span financial (invoicing and contract profitability) through to HR (Recruitment and Screening). Moreover our modules are designed to integrate seamlessly with the TimeGate engine to maximise efficiency. In addition to software, we are committed to building our services offering which includes technical IT services, consulting and training (for both TimeGate and third party software). Moreover, we can deliver these as a packaged IT Services Solution, managing the complete IT needs of our clients.
